Afterschool Enrichment: Katherine Health & Medical Cadets

  • Katherine Elementary students will apply to be a part of the after school enrichment program (please request an application from Mrs. Lundstrom, Principal).

Academy Student Criteria:

Academy members must be diligent students, completing their assignments on time, showing strong effort to learn the subjects. Academy students must exhibit excellent behavior inside and outside the classroom, be well mannered, and be respectful to both peers and teachers. Academy members display excellent citizenship by aligning themselves with the Katherine Guidelines for Success:

Lastly, the academy students show exemplar character through their compassion, honesty, trustworthiness, responsibility, optimism, and loyalty in creating a positive school environment.

 

  • HSMT Academy will have six-week sessions that meet after school weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:30 – 3:15.

  • Katherine Educators will be partnering with Simi Valley High School’s Teachers of Tomorrow Students to design and implement the courses.
